The Safe Employer Ordinance: (1) requires an integrated and comprehensive program to prevent and control injuries and illnesses at all workplaces; and (2) permits OSHA to assess a maximum fine of 15,000 for failure to comply with any provision of the Ordinance, which is in addition to any penalties the employer may be subject to for violation of the State Labor Code or any other law.
